"It really got to me" — New Jersey school's summer readers respond to True Shoes

Lincoln Middle School in Passaic, NJ, is the state's largest grades 6-8 middle school, and this summer True Shoes was assigned reading to all 1,800 students.

Middle schoolers don't always warm to books they're required to read, especially in the summer — but the postings that LMS readers put up on the school library's web page in recent weeks were really striking.
